What is eMoney?

eMoney is a secure website that allows you to connect all your financial accounts, so you can see all your money in one place, and get a better handle on your overall financial situation. Sure, you’ve probably seen similar services, but most of them sell your personal information to third parties, inundate you with spam emails and advertisements, or require you to have a bank account. eMoney doesn’t require a credit card number, doesn’t share your info, and is totally FREE—even if you don’t have an account with my firm. And your information is secure with industry leading 256-bit SSL encryption.

You can connect:

  • Checking accounts

  • Savings accounts

  • Credit Cards

  • Debit Cards

  • Investment accounts

  • 401(k) accounts

  • IRA’s

  • 529 Plans

  • UTMA/UGMA accounts

  • Pensions

  • Life Insurance policies

  • Auto loans

  • Student loans

Other features

eMoney keeps you constantly up-to-date on your account balances, debts, and your net worth. You can track all of your spending, make custom budget categories, and set alerts that will let you know if you’re over-spending in certain areas. If you ever need financial statements or balance sheets, you can simply print them out, any time. There is also a private, secure filing system where you can store important documents like wills, powers of attorney, and copies of life insurance policies, so you and your family know where to find them in an emergency.

What’s the catch?

There’s got to be something in it for me if I’m offering it for free, right? Of course. While using eMoney, some people find they don’t have all the answers they need, with regard to investing, retirement or estate planning questions. If you decide you’d like advice in those areas, the information you’ve added to your site will make it easier for me to see where you are, and how I can help. So, that’s how I benefit from offering it for free—Some people choose to become clients and pay me for services. If you’d rather go it alone though, you’re free to do that—and you can continue using the software, at no charge.
